Bathed in soft light beneath an expansive sky, the white lion rests with effortless authority. He does not need to roar or assert his strength. His presence alone is powerful. His luminous mane flows in layers of white, cream, pale lavender, and touches of gold, almost gathering the surrounding light into itself.
His gaze is calm, reflective, and knowing. There is tremendous physical strength in this animal, yet there is also serenity and grace. That contrast fascinated me: power without aggression, majesty without display, supremacy expressed simply through beauty and presence.
To me, the white lion represents the extraordinary artistry found in God’s creation. Nature gives us forms, colors, textures, and living creatures more remarkable than anything we could invent. As an artist, I can only interpret that beauty on canvas—trying to capture a small part of what has already been created so perfectly.
The title White Supremacy is intended here in its most literal, artistic sense: the magnificent white lion as the supreme presence within the composition. It refers solely to the animal’s commanding beauty, rarity, and majesty—without political or social meaning.
The word “supreme” in this painting speaks to that aesthetic experience: the lion’s exceptional beauty, commanding presence, and almost ethereal whiteness. Against the greens, golds, and distant colors of the landscape, he appears both earthly and otherworldly—powerful enough to command attention, yet peaceful enough simply to be.
Perhaps that is also why the painting speaks to anyone who has ever felt different. The lion’s rarity does not diminish him; it distinguishes him.
For me, White Supremacy is ultimately a portrait of exceptional beauty and quiet strength—a celebration of the white lion as a rare and majestic animal whose power requires no demonstration.
Different… but not less.
Rare, yet belonging.
Majestic. Powerful.
A divine masterpiece of God’s creation.

The Lord’s Prayer — When Art Becomes Music
As I painted, I thought about how music can fill a room even after the last note has faded. A violin may be silent, a trumpet may rest, and the pages of music may lie still, but the emotions they awaken remain with us.

Majesty in White: A Divine Masterpiece of Nature.
Here, supremacy is not aggression or dominance—it is the extraordinary presence of a rare creature portrayed at the height of his natural dignity.
The Power of Freedom
Throughout history, the horse has represented courage, loyalty, and freedom. In this painting, it becomes a universal reminder that our greatest strength often comes from the freedom to choose our own path.
Jam-Ups Shih Tzu
In 1983, a little Shih Tzu, whom I named Tzusie Wong, came into my life. Tzusie was the beginning of a love affair with the Shih Tzu breed!
